K4's LOA increasing the 401k DC to 12% went into effect this month. 5Y's LOA would exceed ours, though I understand theirs has some strings attached on which I'm not qualified to comment. Hopefully we can carry some of the current momentum in the industry into our segment of the business. Atlas's cast-off over at FedEx has loudly announced his intention to undermine their ALPA pilot group by farming out more of the shop to ACMIs. It would be wise of us to use that fact to draw more focus at the union's national level to addressing the compensation gap currently in place, regardless of who is representing us.
For what it's worth, the Atlas LOA has zero concessions and are all improvements. People are just arguing because of aussie hate.
