What was G W Supposed to do about a 300 year old city that was doomed from the start? Even the National Geographic article proclaims that. Seattle is at risk from Mt. Rainer, Los Angeles from the fault. What was G W Bush supposed to do about all these and many more risks to our cities? We can't protect from every possible event. If that were the case then he should have closed the city and dozed it into the sea years ago. Anyone who goes there can recognize the risks. Perhaps we should be angry at the people who chose to live in harms way. It makes just as much sence.
