The company has already decided the useful life of an FO is three years. (Bonus terms) And with the steady flow of pilots from the cadet program I suspect they will have what they need for a good while.
I would guess the three year mark is hoping they upgrade by then and have more of a reason to stay. Or perhaps that’s when they feel they’ve gotten their training costs out of them though I would have guessed it was within a year. No facts to back either guess.
