I admittedly jumped on the rushing bandwagon because it's just one of those southwestisms that I'll never understand. Doesn't have much to do with BNA other than people jumping the line to push.

All that said, ramp control in Nashville was a no brainer. If not an accident, at the very least the place was gridlock waiting to happen. I'm glad they (either the city or the airline?) finally made the decision to staff the ramp tower.
