Disagree? Tell me another airline that operates at the pace that we do! The really sad part is that we’ve actually slowed down to something more in line with “normal” in the decade or so that I’ve been here.

I hope you had a good vacation. My wife and I need to start doing some long distance traveling while we are still young and spry.

I offline Jumpseat on the regular, like I am up front on another carrier at least once a month. I notice zero difference with the pace they operate and the pace I operate with the exception of I never single engine taxi if I can help it and other carriers almost always do, even when they are in contract negotiations. Also AA is ridiculous about closing the door early and pushing despite what's going on up top.

So, you do you, I'll do me, and we can call it even. I am too nervous about dinging a wingtip or making a wrong turn to taxi fast. I don't rush anybody including ramp and ops agents. I tell them to relax, take their time, and we will go when we are all ready. Not sure why APC is the only place with the cool kid pretend job action thing going on, but I guess I am not part of the club until SWAPA tells me I am. In the meantime, enjoy your false outrage, as misplaced as it is.
