Yes, Trip rig is currently 3.5:1. 3:1 would turn most 4day trips into 22-24hrs min credit. Minimum daily credit is another way to fix it. 6hrs min day credit would make a 4day pay 24hrs.
I dont think anyone gives a poop about overnighting in base vs somewhere else, but the loss of pay is the main gripe.
The difference between those two solutions though, is a TAFB rig improvement would incentivize commutable trips, or make uncommutable trips pay more.
Just increasing the minimum day rig, would incentivize adding turns to the front and back of each trip.
Think the better way to go is to go with a better TAFB rig.
