No, I am a new US resident coming from Europe (although, technically, moving from the Middle East where I have lived for the last 10 years).
No place in the US as of yet, so I do not mind where I would be staying, really.
Looking to find a best place to progress my career with AA and enjoy the domicile at the same time (safety, weather, friendliness of the place, etc.).
My wife loving the concept of living in the Orange County in LA, hence my questions about this base in particular.

Are you a commuter? Then the best choice is to choose the base with the easiest commute from your location. That's it. The other differences are small between bases compared to that. There is so much movement in the company right now.
