An ya I do feel comfortable with F9. They can’t have a long and distinguished history of anything if they are only 10 years old. Growing at breakneck pace is difficult. Mistakes are going to be made. Your assessment of the situation is worst case scenario for F9 and best case for United. In reality things aren’t as grim as the picture you paint and it will probably be more in the middle. Spirit will disappear and we should fill in their void. We are still growing like a weed. Could it change? Certainly. Will it? TBD. I don’t claim to see the future as confidently as others. I’m certainly not going to upend my life over 1 quarter with loss.

Foundations great man. I took a HUGE paycut to come to F9 and it has worked out excellent for my family. Truly. To go to United would be forcing myself into commuting. That would be intentionally hurting my family for just a few bucks. I still value my time with my kids more than any job so speaking for only myself Frontier is easily more valuable of a career spot than United. But those that want to leave for their own reasons I’m all for it. Faster the exodus the faster the contract.
I would be more worried if I was constantly losing money like Breeze.... But one quarter of small losses, I dont think the sky is falling like everyone says.
