How does the travel among the LA area bases work? If you live on the west side and get an ONT trip, the 1.5hr drive is on you (mileage etc)? Do they cover parking at SNA/ONT as well as LAX I assume? Or can you pref LAX/ONT/SNA when you're on reserve to lessen the chance of having to drive all across the southland to get to work?
as a reserve in LA you can get reimbursed $300 a month for travel to SNA, ONT, etc. but not LAX. This is brand new to the contract and not sure how the flight office will try to account for tolls, mileage, etc. Uber receipts are easy. AA covers for parking regardless. You can create a proffer list for all the open time that day to try to get a certain airport. No guarantees, honoring seniority is the first priority for the company.
