Similarly I left Spirit for American early last year. . Because of this I am positive I made the right decision. But I still tell all my CA's I fly with about the QOL I had at Spirit and the great contract they have for lineholders.
I doubt any of your fellow AA pilots felt you made the right decision. But hey, AA is a train wreck. My flights are always delayed, my bags never arrive on time. My neighbors have a FB page complaining about AA all the time.
