I doubt that will ever change, or any of our work rules. I fully expect protracted negotiations and finally settling on zero changes plus a pay raise, with overwhelming yes votes. This plus always feeling on edge about growth and if any of our bases will be here in a couple years was enough to make new apps and apply everywhere. I was a little nervous about moving on but all this sudden upheaval tells me it’s the right choice.
I was so happy when I finally made it to Frontier from the regionals. I was even happier when I left Frontier for a legacy. Get out, the grass is truly greener.
I suspect contract negotiations at Frontier will be very similar to how they've played out at Allegiant. Management will drag it out long enough to the point that people will be happy with increased rates and not much else. No incentive for them to get it done, and I'm skeptical that upcoming aircraft deliveries offer any real leverage to the pilot group. Indigo can sell off their orders to other airlines, or allocate them to their other airline holdings.
