Unless it was a walk around in MSP or waiting an eternity for a DTW hotel shuttle, you would sweat worse than south Florida summers and I spent more time lugging it around than wearing it. My solution in years past was a pilot sweater under the blazer when temps fell in winter. When the Karbon rolled out here I scoffed at the price and ski patrol look, but a buddy insisted I try his on a two day and I ordered one myself on the return leg and haven't looked back. Not as stylish as the ascot, but solid two season functionality and doesn't seal in all the juices like the leather does.
I'm sold, plus I love skiing.
