I think the point is that the OP said he knows no one at United, so the discussion on whether a M&G is the game changer for someone at OO isn’t all that relevant to him. Not many people are going to go through that effort for someone who they met on their jumpseat. Might be useful for someone else, though.
As far as I understand it, people under one year with the company are not supposed to set up M&G at UAL. Is that a thing?
