3728314[/url]]The nature of the drug test failure will play a part in any hiring decision. If it's Marijuana there would be a chance. If it's cocaine it's going to be a tougher sell. As mentioned in the prior post you need some time with a clean history.
The fact is that HR is there to protect the company. The liability in a lawsuit would probably increase if there was an incident and a pilot had a recent drug test failure prior to hiring.
I’ve got a friend that several are trying to get to united. He had an alcohol issue several years back. The unofficial word I’ve heard is ten years post incident. Right now after hiring fairs and CPO m&g he can’t even get a hogan invite. Anecdotal, so take it for what it’s worth.
