status at time of report. In that regard,
yes you are a Reserve pilot (on 1 Dec).
BL, the only time you get 1800 “protection” on your first day of reserve LC is if the preceding day is vacation. Being a “regular pilot” is irrelevant, and does not get you any extra time off on the first day of LC.
