I assume that would be in addition to the one in HNL? Only widebodies there can make it to Asia and Aus/NZ. Unless you're implying close that up, and have one WB base in SEA? Not sure how the logistics of that would work. It would be tons of overnights in HNL. There's probably some break even point in terms of departures/day and having a base there vs tons of hotels/overnight costs. It sounds like they want to keep a large presence in HNL.

Agreed. VX and B6 would have been the easiest, cleanest merger in history. But money talked and Alaska won.
Curious to see if this Biden admin takes AS/HA to court too, just like Spirit/jetBlue. Closing arguments done there, it will be interesting to see that ruling...
