You could get legal rest in HNL and still have problems with fatigue if there was a five hour time zone change.
That's possible, but I haven't heard about it. Actually I can ask someone who might know.
But the Go! operation did not go junior when I was there...most likely anyone commuting there would be doing so voluntarily. A midwesterner who could hold HI, could also hold ORD or IAD....
