You are forgetting who we are dealing with here. They highly regret the VILs and EILs during Covid. This is a group that takes pleasure in things like furloughs. They got caught on their heels after southwest inked their deal for leaves during Covid and had to react as they always do.
They have a long storied past of hating labor.
