So count those 75 rates you will be on for a few years as a win. Just remember those rates they will be under for 30-35 years compound every contract and every raise. They would be fools to be swindled with 75 rates for such a short period. Both should be up there.
Exactly. I have absolutely no issue with FO's making 757 rates, just that Captains should be making the same 757 rates as well. Like Whack said, make it a simple percentage tied to Captain pay and make everyone 757 rates or better. It's not complicated. I want every FO to remember that they will spend the majority of their career in the left seat and not the right. If the rates in the seat that you are going to spend the majority of your career in don't reflect the value that you bring to the table, then vote accordingly.
