RFI is 1 day. 2 hours of "ground/pre-briefing" W&B, TLR, Talk about the plan in the sim and the speil on how it is flight training, not flight checking. Into the sim for 4-5 hours (2-2.5hrs as PF and PNF). Steep turns, all 3 Stalls, 3 approaches (1 ILS, 2 non-prec), 3 landings, some malfunctions, V1 cuts, windshear and/or CFIT. Maybe a TCAS RA, and anything else you want to see or do in the assigned time. Screw something up, they retrain you right there. If can't be retrained in the time allowed, come back for another session as per the contract.
If you are an FO, get as much out of it as possible. It will be the last time you see the sim until your PC 11-13 months out. Nice to be able to fit in a couple of extra V1's or stalls etc, just to fine tune them a final time before it counts at the next checking event.
Thanks RJ for the heads up, just curious about it. Thanks again!
