Obviously the company wants spirit and allegiant to be the pilots' "peer group," but saying your pilot group/union needs to "act" like SW is the primary peer group based on a brand new leak/rumor about southwest's contract that emerged in the past few days is pretty silly.

not to mention that southwest is a lcc that offers beverages and bags for free, and is in a different segment of the market than ULCC
Spirit won’t exist soon and alligiant is a travel Company. People need to go read the snap up language right under the pay rate table in the proposal. That’s the peer group. It’s defined. You’ll notice ups and fedex are not there either.
