Switched from A20 to A30. I don't like anything in my ear so plug type weren't considered. A20 works great but usually take them off for a bit around 3.5 hours. A30 I can wear all day but preflight check looking at the overhead panel I have to hold them on my head. They both double as great GA headsets too.
I have a DC ONE-X (the over ear with noise cancelling) and love it, BUT I've noticed with the hotmic on it picks up a lot of background noise (static) that gets tiring (I do turn off hotmic when I'm not talking for a while). Does the A30 have this?
Also, how big is the A30? Same size as the A20? I like that the DCs are a little smaller and don't take up as much room in my flight bag.
I wish I could do in-ear but it just gets way too uncomfortable after a while.
