Why bid for a contract that uses planes you've never used before? Now they're removing them 2-3 years into it? That is one awful business choice, whether by Chautublic or Continental.

Both Larry Kellner and B.B. were planning on XE returning the 69 ERJs to CAL. I'm sure they both thought it would be seamless since CHQ already flew the E145. However, XE threw a curve ball when they announced they were keeping the planes, and B.B. had to go to plan B. Take some of the E145s coming off the UsAir side, and pull some FlyI CRJs out of the desert. On top of that, I think B.B. was drooling at the prospect of CAL pilots caving on 50 seat scope. I think he still wants to fly the E170 for CAL, and I pray everyday that will never happen.
