Unless you are on a widebody and stuck in the plane for 10+ hours, there is always time to stop and get something healthy. 45 minutes turn with an aircraft swap at a distant gate...... stop and get a salad, they'll wait. A protein bar will hold you for the first leg if it's too early and restaurants aren't open. The irregular hours that we keep with this job are unhealthy enough. Adding a poor diet and lack of exercise to the mix is why so many of our pilots are fat.
Or just eat the crew meal.
