I had deep immersion in these scenarios when the 350 was a constant churn of OE and TOE. Qualifier: everyone on the same pairing configuration, most often. Senior F/O was outta there. Either way, somebody not the original two F/Os is sitting in the right seat 1/2 the time and for TO & Landing. So it was pretty clear that the top F/O was removed, most often after checking in, which sucked. But the truly senior (3 digit F/Os) were often walking to a different gate for some green action. #1 was building houses in all his spare time, and clocking big cash on the days he served Delta. Good work if you can get it!

So short answer is "as deliniated in the PWA," but practical reality is "the senior F/O" in my experience.
