I believe it was handled correctly by CRS, they can't drop part of a trip from your schedule, in essence it is like you are treated for a sick call on reserve. If you call in well on the 2nd day of a six day R day string but they assigned you a 4 day trip lost to sick on days 1-4, you are not on the hook until the lost sick trip is completed, correct ?

As far as the trip removed it should show up in your makeup bank since they essentially dropped the R days. You are covered under the J/S policy as long as you meet the 13:30 and 1:30 turn time limits.
