It looks like it's going to be less in 2024 than it was in 2023 and perhaps 2022.
Still huge pressure on the lower tier jobs which is great for the people who got into flying 1-3 up to 6-8 years ago.

Although hiring has receded slightly from post-covid peaks, airline hiring proceeds at a pace that would have been considered amazing anytime from 1903 to 2019.
More importantly, it is removing experienced pilots from the hiring pool far faster than they can be replaced ... so even though hiring is slowing down the situation will probably still get worse.
