Can you confirm you got this assignment off R24?

It's good to hear you were covered under the "commuting into Memphis clause" --- I''ve known this clause does not apply to those commuting in to sit "A or B reserve" or "airport standby", but wasn't sure how it applied to guys on R24.

OBTW, I know a senior MD11 Capt who missed a 72 hour trip by 8 minutes last fall and was removed. Had been talking to his schedulers for over 4 hours prior to the trip, keeping them informed on how he may be delayed.

In the end ---- no harm, no foul, but NO PAY! Now that's painful!
