I've never jumped delta int'l, byt a couple coworkers have. The best way if leaving ATL is to head to the Delta information counter on concourse E, they will help you out and take your money for taxes. They also list you for the return flight, which is of great help in getting out of int'l airports with agents who have no idea what "jumpseating" is. The terminal ticket counters are of little help, just bypass them if possible. The gate agents at the gates will usually send you back to the info counter to list. This is info a couple years old and may have changed. As far as I know, they allow multiple riders on int'l.
