If AA or DL want to hire me before I get forced into an upgrade I'd happily go there but with metering I don't think I'm going from regional FO to a legacy without leaving for a LCC/ULCC first. That sounds like a terrible idea. Definitely do it. I’d definitely be eyeing an airline that is overall shrinking the seniority list this year, displacing people and parking a fleet, about to be going through a merger, is losing money, and best off all, introduces a commute to NYC or BOS where there’s a good chance you’ll have to sit reserve.
