I agree that this fund should be set up and think that $20 per check is a bargain compared to the alternative of having no plan and being blindsided in the end. The same people that are going to moan and gripe and complain about having to pay the $20 are the same people that will claim the union is doing nothing for the pilot group. Legal counsel isn't free and your ALPA dues don't fund legal counsel in this scenario.
Thats 20$ a month for a year. What I want to know is if that money does not get used where will it go and how will it be accounted for. I want to make sure it does NOT get used to pay off the money that JC ran up on hotels and vacations. If you don't know our Union is a couple hundred thousand in the hole!
