Seems like once standard jumpseat etiquette has disappeared. Had an international jumpseater today who 1. Didn't email Capt 2. Didn't do the typical "can I catch a ride" on the meet and greet. 3. Assumed he was getting a rack in the rest can, instead of asking Capt for use just asked RFO which rack he wanted.. Not to mention the supersized bag and golf clubs...Guess I'm old school but a lot of new guys seemed to have dropped the standard etiquette. In the scheme of things I don't think it is a huge issue and I'm not saying we should go back to the bring cookies days but some common curtesies would be nice.
