As far as I'm aware, going all the way back to 2014-2015 time frame, we have not based on information from the Crew Rest Oversight Committee (CROC). I certainly hope we wouldn't be advocating waiving a section of our UPA...without something big in return for the pilots.
It’s literally a corner cut off the mattress by a few inches for aesthetics to conform to stairs leading up to the bunk, and it’s only one of them. Unless you’re 6’8”, and you rest your feet on the corners while you sleep, you’ll never even know. Technically the mattress width and height are well within guidance.
If you’re willing to snub an order of 100 wide bodies (SK words not mine) over something that stupid and trivial your priorities are screwed up. I’m not talking about a TI style fire sale of leverage the way he gave everything away for 6 years… but if you want something in return, it would be an all new fleet of modern wide bodies and the pay/QOL that comes with them.
