Which contract did you read? A ton of stuff changed on reserve; it just hasn't been implemented yet. The number of people who haven't actually read the implementation plan is disappointing.
Among other things: short-notice callout provisions change next month, Reserve release override begins next month, the "own" preference is actually useful starting in April, the company loses their ability to change the RAP by more than an hour in 3Q (and even then only in limited circumstances). Reserve release-to-check-in, probably the biggest improvement to reserve in the history of this airline, begins first quarter of next year. More comes later that year, but I'll let you read up on it, because you clearly haven't.
Where is the long call reserve? That is what the FO in the lounge was complaining about the other day. So where is it in the new contract? Release to check in? Wow? Those are not big changes that are meaningful in any way. But I guess that's why you voted yes?
