Then the details of it came out and as has been said over and over, if you're on a four day block as is often the case, you'll not likely get to benefit from this provision. You'll likely get a 3 day trip assigned the first day and have to commute anyway for the RAP. I guess if it works once or twice a month it's better than nothing, but for those other 2-3 trips that month, it won't change anything.
The changes in disability are really good. And they were necessary because what we had before was really inadequate. Also, LCO *might* end up being great. A few other odds and ends are really nice. But they rushed at the end and should have put on the brakes a bit. All of a sudden the company was ready to settle. They dangled the back pay in our faces right before Christmas. More and more will realize that we should have held out for more. It doesn't mean what we signed sucks. But we should have slowed down and tweaked it better.
I bid rsv…either that or bottom blanks since I’m jr. It’s 2/10 and I’m up 10 tfp from LCO this month.
I agree it was rushed at the end and am curious why the company all of a sudden decided to get a deal done after years of intentional delays.
