As a reserve pilot in LA, I got limo’d to BUR, SNA, SAN (a lot!). I’ve seen ONT as well. In one example, I even saw a 130am limo to LAS to operate a LAS-SEA flight. That one wasn’t a rsv assignment, it was a trip made into regular opentime and picked up by a lineholder.
Yep, on Reserve they can do whatever they want, limoing you from LAX to SNA, and all those other satellite airports, in addition to cobbling up whatever other weird trip they need to, and dropping it in Open Time if necessary in order to keep our metal moving.
However, the original trips that are built to be bidded on from month to month will either start and finish out of LAX (the VAST majority), or SNA.
