As former mil, that would be surprising as I have yet to hear that from a single mil pilot I know. Maybe just my little corner that understands. Most of the guys I hear that say that, are the ones who hate alpa and don't understand the bolded part below. However, I would say we're not in the middle class, as we fall in the upper class. Some even hit the top 1%, with many falling in the top 5% and nearly all in the top 10%.. Depending on whose numbers you believe, even most newhires can make it into the upper class in year 1.

Back the topic at hand, I think a it would be a great thing to publish the history of PS. It doesn't hurt to understand where it came from and how we got to where we are today. It would be interesting if they run the numbers had we not given up some of the PS formula
