I get that, but considering how many max 10's UA ordered and how much United Next depends on those aircraft, JB and Spirit orders are just a drop in the bucket. Every bit helps, but United Next is going to be hard to pull off until Boeing gets it's act together and either certifies the Max10, or increases production of the Max9.
they had over 150 aircraft to be delivered before 2026 and delayed by 3-4 years by both
check wiz air as well that is owned by indigo a US corp which owes frontier as well
they are in trouble too with 1/3 of their current fleet parked due to engine problems. They too delaying deliveries and their priority is to get 53 planes fly again
150 frames could be diverted to United
