reserve in base like any fleet isn’t bad. Commuting, you’d probably get a few short calls a month in quite month (my guess is max 5 in quiet months), honestly a lot of locals pick up the short calls to reset order and make extra money. In summer I flew 15-17 days a month, in the shoulder months, I haven’t flown in almost 3 months. I sit reserve during the week, lineholders are picking trips up. For my WB base a lot of trips are commutable , minus some Hawaii and Japan. As most people on here say,
bid 737 , learn the bidding / reserve rules and then move up.
