To anser the OP, reserve on the WB is not bad at all, especially in base. If you want to fly you can APU ("Agressive Pick Up") trips and fly a couple times a month. Going to landings class is a given unless you are in a base with a healthy amount of domestic trips like SFO 777. Even then it is probable unless you try to pick up domestic flying.
