As an uninvolved bystandard, I still suggest they dust off the 757 drawings, update it, and call it the 797.
Their CEO said they’re 10+ years away from being able to start on a clean sheet design, so the safe bet is they’re actually closer to 20 years to the design and 30 from the first flight.
