Not even sure how you can defend a 737 over a 777 middle seat. Not even close, you can go either direction with an extra aisle. Plus the benefit of not having to make a tech stop to switch pilots.
Can’t say I have ever heard of a passenger excited over a second aisle, but there’s a fetish everywhere for someone.
