Does Kalitta plan to retire their 747’s in the next few years or are they planning to keep those around for years to come? I know the 777x-F looks like a great airplane with some impressive range and payload capability, but they are also expensive. And with Boeing’s problems with getting the 7X certified along with the max issues and other problems, makes a lot of people question Boeing’s quality. I’d imagine all of K4’s 74’s have long since been paid off and buying some brand new 7X’s would cost a lot of money upfront.
