It paid well, and was a coveted position. No crew tracking, a number of schedluers were "crew coordinators" for during trip issues, but there was no functional difference. Most of the people you spoke with on the phone were over 20 years in, and beleive me, they knew the NWA contract better than you did. Most were legit, though, and if you knew your stuff there weren't a lot of issues. Some were very nice, and one in particular would have everyone sitting reserve in MSP over to their home on Thansgiving and Xmas for kind of a pot luck dinner, but she cooked the turkey and ham.
