I have to agree. If we've reached a point where a pilot won't turn off the autopilot even on a visual approach when it's clear, blue, and a million until 500 feet AGL, maybe we are not hand flying enough to remain proficient.
This is exactly the trend I’m seeing with the people I fly with.
