I'm a big fan of the Aurora 22". The zippers and well placed, and it fits nicely on its side in the overheads, or in the 73 cockpit if you are commuting (or actually fly it).

That’s what I have too. It’s about 1/3 the weight of the standard crew bag and has lots of good internal and external pockets. I’m on my second in 5 years because I was way too hard on it and just had ti replace the handle. Had to use my wife’s Away suitcase. Now that’s a nice one. Glides so easy through the airport. Has me considering it.
