I wasn't expecting it to be in the first for flying category. Does that mean if you select that as your only option you will be called before anybody else in the lower days available grouping, regardless of seniority?

As I understand it, it only lowers your RAW group and DOA. So, if there is a trip you want in OT that's 3 days and you're 4 days, you submit the YS for that trip. Instead of trip coverage saying you're in 4 day bucket, it thinks you're in the 3 day bucket and you get in line based on every other criteria.
