Yeah it doesn't appear like it will help me out in this situation. I'm in a 4 day grouping. There is 1 trip in the 4 day bucket but 2 pilots junior to me in the 4 day bucket. I want to make sure those 2 pilots don't get short call assignments making me top of the list for the 4 day trip. There are no 3 day trips in open time. I was hoping to drop to the 3 day bucket to avoid the 4 day trip without adding any extra exposure to be used.

It seems I'd be volunteering to be used first if needed to fly should a 3 day come into open time.

I could volunteer for short call but as I've been used for every single short call since the new contract so I'm not really up for that either.

I was hoping to get something for nothing.
