Denied sit pay because it wasn’t between flight segments. So we can report for a flight and sit indefinitely without pay if the flight CXs?
Also, did you find the Easter Egg? Reroute to additional next day flying in base. Shouldn’t I have been released? Or is that something I need to request and if I didn’t I’m SOL?

Regarding sit pay, CS is correct. Has to be between consecutive flight or deadhead segments. Additionally, it only applies "as scheduled". Delays (or early arrivals) do not affect sit pay. Also, you're not really sitting "without pay" as you're still getting some combination of ADG, DTY, MCD, etc credit towards RSV guarantee.
As for release in base, the request to be released has to be made at the time the reroute is acknowledged.
