My captain said the same thing you did -- that I should have actually been given a full PB on Thursday, a full PB on Friday, and then a PR on Saturday. I am trying to find a reference for that before I call CS. Many thanks!
From what you’ve written, that actually sounds correct. If your PR ends at 2030, that means your 1-day GS on Thursday released at 11:30? If that’s true, then you get only a PR anyway. So they turned the Thursday PR from your first GS into a full PB, then gave you the single PR on Friday. (it must’ve been an awfully early report for it to release at 11:30 though)
To answer your question, i’ve never been able to find anything in the PWA, or the scheduling reference handbook. In fact, if you look at the SRH examples, it does not appear to affirm this.
But past practice, and even questioning CS directly, turning a PR into a full PB before applying the second set of PB days is the way CS has always done
every subsequent GS I have ever done, and I’ve rolled a lot of thunder.
